Janet Mae Altemeyer, 80, of Pacific died Nov. 7, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Beelow, who was retired, was of the Baptist faith. Born June 13, 1941, in Libertyville, Ill., she was the daughter of the late Dorothy (Hazel) Brixen and William George Beelow.
She is survived by two children: Sandra (Jim) Shinkle and Daniel R. McMahan; two siblings: Silvia M. Baird of Florida and Charlette J. (Dean) Long of Colorado; and nine grandchildren including: James Shinkle III, Valene Clark, Dustin McMahan, Shea McMahan, Josh McMahan, Seth McMahan, Leah McMahan, Ashley McMahan and Mark McMahan.
She was preceded in death by a son: Mark Defrenne.
Memorial service will be at a later date.
