James Logan DeClue, 78, of Festus died Dec. 11, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. DeClue was a retired nursing home administrator. He served in the U.S. Army from 1967-1969 and was a member of VFW Post 3777.
Born Nov. 12, 1943, he was the son of the late Hazel (Vineyard) and Dennis E. DeClue.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis (Eddie) DeClue.
He is survived by one son: Jeffrey (Tyann) DeClue of Littleton, Colo.; one daughter: Jennifer (Alan) Kaburick of Glen Carbon, Ill.; seven grandchildren: Garrett, Grant, Graham, Grayson, Reed, Lane and Leah: one sister: Becky (Charlie) Hahn of Crystal City; and his beloved dog: Gracie.
Burial service will be at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to Soldiers’ Angels or the Ozark Food Pantry.
