James Allan “Jimmy” Leonard, 28, of De Soto died Jan. 25, 2019, in Victoria. Mr. Leonard was a maintenance manager for McDonald’s restaurants in De Soto and Hillsboro. Born April 10, 1990, in St. Louis, he was the son of Jacquelyn (Coffman) Leonard of Hillsboro and the late James R. Leonard.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Bethany (Caine) Leonard; four stepchildren: Evan, Ian, Ivan and Elizabeth; a sister: Shelby (Sebastian Holloway) Leonard of Festus; a nephew: Jeremiah; his grandparents: Jack and Patricia Coffman of Hillsboro; his mother-in-law: Tammy (Kevin) Steward Caine Gard of De Soto; Tammy’s parents: Gary and Laura Steward of Victoria; his father-in-law: Billy (Stephanie) Caine of House Springs; Billy’s parents: Bill (the late Ginger) Caine of Hillsboro; a sister-in-law: Samantha Morris Caine; and two brothers-in-law: Levi Gard and Elisha Caine.
A memorial gathering is at 9 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main St., in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Derreck Jones. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
