Harold Ray Alexander, 73, of Arnold died Nov. 29, 2019. Mr. Alexander was retired from General Motors. He was a member of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, collecting vintage cars, Western films, old country gospel music and spending time with family members and friends. Born April 25, 1946, in Maryville, Tenn., he was the son of the late Beatrice (Pruitt) and Norman Clyde Alexander.
He is survived by two children: Sandy (Matt) Scherrer and Lisa (Lee) Deane; six siblings: Margret Little, Betty Maddox, Brenda Franklin, Linda Hanley, Joe Alexander and Danny Alexander; nine grandchildren: Gary Stevens, Samantha Alexander, Matthew Scherrer, Jacob Scherrer, Emily Deane, Danielle Scherrrer, Daniel Deane, Marcus Scherrer and Micah Scherrer; and best friend Patricia Alexander.
He was preceded in death by a son: Daniel Ray Alexander; and four siblings: Norman Clyde Alexander Jr., Roger Alexander, Kenneth Alexander and Shirley Davis.
A memorial service was held Dec. 6 at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home in Arnold. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
