Gwen Frigerio, 70, Festus

Gwen Ann Frigerio, 70, of Festus died Aug. 22, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Frigerio was an active member of Community Bible Church in Pevely. She enjoyed taking care of animals and spending time with family. Born June 29, 1951, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late: Richard and Flora (Bauer) Jensen.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years: Terry Louis Frigerio; a son: Kevin (Yvonne) Frigerio of Festus; a daughter: Christy (Adam) Phipps of Bonne Terre; a sister: Carol (John) King of Illinois; a sister-in-law: Kathy Jensen of Festus; and three grandchildren: Anthony, Hannah and Silas.

She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Jensen II.

A memorial gathering will be from 5 p.m. until the memorial service at 7 p.m. Monday (Aug. 30) at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, 63132-3258. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Homes.
