Gloria Jean Pashia, 70, of Pevely died Dec. 13, 2020, at her home. Mrs. Pashia devoted her life to her family and always made everyone she met feel welcome as family. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flower gardens and riding across the country on their Harley with her husband and friends. Born Oct. 18, 1950, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Viola (Deroin) and Clarence Helm.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years: James Pashia Jr.; a daughter: Sandra Ann (William G.) Hart of Bonne Terre; a daughter-in-law: Sherry Pashia of Bloomsdale; six grandchildren: Chastity (Jake) McMahan, Michael James (Taylin) Plymale, Brittany Nichole (Brenden) Blair, Billy Hart, Courtney (Dalton) Adams and James (Caitlyn) Pashia IV; seven great-grandchildren: Layna Jo McMahan, Lylah Summers, Roland Plymale, Penny Plymale, Ryder Adams, Raelynn Pashia and Emersyn Pashia; and several siblings.
She was preceded in death by a son: James E. Pashia III.
Visitation is at 5 p.m. and a funeral service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely, officiated by Pastors Carol and Mel Spreckelmeyer. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
