Glenn Loren Phillips, 71, of Crystal City died Jan. 18, 2018, at Crystal Oaks Skilled Nursing in Crystal City. Mr. Phillips worked as vice president of sales and marketing for various regional building material manufacturers. He was a member of the Festus-Crystal City Rotary Club and the Show-Me Wood Turners, and a past board member of Habitat for Humanity. Born Feb. 28, 1946, in Sioux Falls, S.D., he was the son of the late Edna (Shurman) and Vernus Phillips.
He is survived by his wife: Cheryl (Anderson) Phillips; a daughter: Stacy (Richard) Fountain of Livonia, Mich.; a son: Teak (Ann) Phillips of St. Louis; three brothers: Gerry (LeAnne) Phillips of Sioux Falls, S.D., Gene (the late Margie) Phillips of Madison, S.D., and Gary (Glennette) Phillips of Hyde Park, Utah; a sister: Gail (Barney) Madler of Rapid City, S.D.; and four grandchildren: Wallace and Liam Fountain and Jack and Lucy Phillips.
He was preceded in death by a brother: George Phillips.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Cure PSP, 1206 York Road, Suite L4, Lutherville, MD 20603. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus.
