Geraldine M. “Jerry” (Olmsted) Meixner, 98, of Arnold died May 16, 2021, at her home. Mrs. Meixner was a homemaker and a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Arnold. She loved the St. Louis Cardinals, bingo, the casino and her poker buddies. She was born Dec. 27, 1922, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Herbert and Grace Olmsted. She was preceded in death by her husband: Ernest “Sonny” Meixner.
She is survived by five children: Jerry (the late James) Dierkes, Pat (Bob) Echelmeyer, Donna Meixner, Linda (Bill) Conner and Ed (DeAnne) Meixner; 10 grandchildren: Jim, Steven, Susan, Sandy, Joe, Eric, Mike, Chris, Deedee and Ed Jr.; 16 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter: Jackie Burton.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. Visitation is from 9 a.m. until a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Friday, May 21, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Arnold. Burial is in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
