George Marvin Sapper, 65, of Park Hills died May 31, 2021, in St. Louis. Mr. Sapper was a Christian. Born Sept. 4, 1956, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Joyce (Vessell) and Kernan Sapper.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years: Helen Sapper of Park Hills; three children: Danielle Litterst of Hillsboro, Robert Vessell of Hillsboro and Olivia Vessell of Pevely; a sister: Joyce Elaine (Aaron) Pyle of Festus; four grandchildren: Cody, Chloe, Shelby and Carson; his lifelong best friend: Doug Cage; and numerous other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by a son: Theodore Vessell; and his grandparents: Marvin and Eloise Perryman.
A celebration of life is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 10, at New Height Church, 4982 Flat River Road, in Farmington. Memorials may be made to the family in care of Coplin Funeral Home, 910 Taylor Ave., in Park Hills. Arrangements are under the direction of Coplin Funeral Home.
