Gary J. Peters, 75, of Arnold died Sept. 5, 2022, in Town and Country. Mr. Peters was a printer. He served in the U.S. Army from 1966-1968. He attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, then Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Arnold. He played soccer and golf. Born Nov. 6, 1946, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Katherine (Panus) and Cyrel Peters.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years: Karen (Early) Peters; three children: Kevin (Kelly) Peters, Sean (Kelly) Peters and Amy (Garry) Moore; three siblings: Maureen (Sam) Mezines, Kathy (the late Mike) Wagstaff and Pat (Ferd) Faulstich; nine grandchildren: Madeline, Gavin, Bailey, Lily, Maura, Carson, Hannah, Liam and Cameron; four siblings-in-law: Pam (Ray) Timmons, Michael (Carol) Earley, Patrick (Debbie) Earley and Colleen Flickinger; a special friend: Tom Flickinger; and numerous family members and friends.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Road, Affton. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 2300 Church Road, Arnold, officiated by Father Jeffrey Knight. Memorials may be made to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
