Floyd W. Craig, 83, of De Soto died Feb. 2, 2016, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Craig was an equipment operator with the Jefferson County Highway Department. Born Feb. 2, 1933, in Valles Mines, he was the son of the late Archie and Daisy (Kobel) Craig. He was preceded in death by his wife: Delores (Sansoucie) Craig.
He is survived by four children: Debbie Craig of De Soto, Diane (Ken) Brunaugh of De Soto, Doyle (Yvonne) Craig of Festus and Danny (Carleen) Craig of De Soto; a son-in-law: Bahry Campbell of De Soto; two siblings: Albert (Barb) Craig of De Soto and
Cathy (Roger) Jarvis of Park Hills; two sisters-in-law: Penny Craig and Linda Craig, both of De Soto; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Campbell; a sister, Grace (Arthur) Wyley; and two brothers: Roy and Ralph Craig.
A funeral service was held Feb. 5 at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Gene Moses. Burial was in Charter Memorial Gardens in Festus. Arrangements were under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
