Florine Ida (Eggers) Bohle, 97, Cedar Hill

Florine Ida (Eggers) Bohle, 97, of Cedar Hill died Sept. 5, 2021, in St. Louis. Ms. Bohle was a homemaker and later worked at Meramec Valley Insurance Co. She was a member of St. Martin’s United Church of Christ in Dittmer and was past president of the Women’s Fellowship. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, gardening, mowing grass, baking pies, ironing and providing for her family. She loved embroidery. Born March 30, 1924, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Alma (Schmidt) Eggers.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 77 years: Roy R. Bohle.

She is survived by two children: Rob (Nancy) Bohle of Cedar Hill and Elaine Brooks of Cedar Hill; five grandchildren: Bryan (Evelyn) and Matthew (Krista) Brooks, Rebecca (Samuel) Maindonald, and Susan and Ryan Bohle; six great-grandchildren: Henry, Walter, Tyler, Stella, George and Woodrow, as well as another on the way; a sister-in-law: Venita Bohle; and many other family and friends.

She also was preceded in death by a sister: Marie Eggers Mathis; and a brother: Walter (Buddy) Eggers.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the funeral services at 1 p.m. Friday (Sept. 10) at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ, 7890 Dittmer Ridge Road, in Dittmer, followed by the burial in St. Martin’s United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Martin’s United Church of Christ. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
