Faye Alta Miller, 88, of De Soto died Feb. 14, 2020, in Bonne Terre. Mrs. Miller was retired from the De Soto Shoe Factory. She enjoyed making flower arrangements, sewing and camping and fishing. Born Sept. 28, 1931, in Rocky Point, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Winnie Dove Poe and Oliver Mack King.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James C. Miller.
She is survived by a son: Charles Miller; two daughters: Susan (Frank) Perkins of De Soto and Shelia Luebbers of De Soto; a brother: Willis King of Michigan; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: De Wayne Miller and James Michael Miller; a brother: Pink King; two sisters: Anne Lee Lund and Algarie Gentry; a great-grandson: Tayte Alexander Boyer; a son-in-law: James Luebbers; and a brother-in-law: Paul Gentry.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, at Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home, De Soto.
