Edward Lee Sebastian, 66, of Herculaneum died Jan. 18, 2017, at Scenic View Nursing Facility in Herculaneum. Mr. Sebastian worked in the production line for Sunnen Candy. He was avid fan of drag racing, wrestling and rock and roll (especially ZZ Top) and loved to dance, hunt, and fish. Born April 19, 1950, in Bonne Terre, he was the son of the late Talmadge “Ted” and Norma (Wideman) Sebastian.
He is survived by a stepson: Carl (Stephanie) Jankowitz of Festus; four siblings: Doris (Russell) Grobe of Hillsboro, Paul Sebastian of Hillsboro, Dale Sebastian of Ft. Madison, Iowa, and Tom Sebastian of Farmington; a step-grandson: Carl Jankowitz Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by Pastor Derek Jones. Burial is in the Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
