Donald Wayne Sanderson, 68, of Bloomsdale died Jan. 4, 2020, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St Louis. Mr. Sanderson had been a store clerk at Lowe's in Festus and was a member of the American Legion. He had served as a sergeant in the US Army stationed in Vietnam. Born Oct. 28, 1951, in Hannibal, he was the son of the late Billy George and Roxanna (Adkison) Sanderson.
He is survived by a brother: Ronald (Vicki) Sanderson of Bloomsdale; six sisters: Robin Sanderson of Bloomsdale, Rowena (Butch) Weber and Ramona Berkley, both of Riverton, Wyo., Rita Bland of Grandview, Texas; Rena Jo (Buddy) Elliott of Hillsboro and Shonda (Keith) Stone of Lake St. Louis; and by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
