Donald P. Doerr, 87, of St. Louis died Aug. 7, 2022, at home. Mr. Doerr was a carpenter. He was Catholic. Born July 4, 1935, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Dorothy Janius and Milton Doerr.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years: Patricia Doerr.
He is survived by four children: David (Lisa) Doerr, Debra Doerr, Donna (Thomas) Spencer and Diane (Douglas) Dobey; two sisters: Shirley Diaz and Joan Wright; a daughter-in-law: Vickie Doerr; 17 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by a son: Dennis Doerr; two siblings: Lorraine Ross and Frank Doerr; and a granddaughter: Heather Rawie.
Visitation will be at 4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, at the Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in St. Louis County. A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 12, at the funeral home, officiated by Father Rick Coerver. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in St. Louis. Memorials may be made to ALS, American Cancer Society, Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County.
