Dolores Mary (Labuary) Becherer, 77, of Festus died Dec. 16, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Becherer had worked as an office clerk for Bussman Fuse. She enjoyed ceramics and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Born Jan. 24, 1942, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Hester (Cambron) Labuary.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Richard Becherer; two sons: Keith Becherer and Kelly (Julie) Becherer, both of Festus; two sisters: Adele Wengert of St. Marys and Elaine Miller of Festus; five grandchildren: Kory, Jessica, Jenee, Alyssa and Hannah; and three great-grandchildren: Travis, Trevor and Mylah.
She was preceded in death by Ralph Labuary and Donald Labuary.
Visitation is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 555 Bailey Road, in Crystal City. Burial is in the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Crystal City. Memorials may be made in the form of Masses in Mrs. Becherer’s honor. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
