Diane Missey, 72, of Fenton died June 6, 2018, at FieserNursingCenter in Fenton. Mrs. Missey loved poetry, gardening, music, singing and especially her grandchildren. She was a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan. Born July 17, 1945, in Knoxville, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Arthur Alonzo and Florence Jane (Gattis) Miller. She was preceded in death by her husband: Leroy C. Missey.
She is survived by three children: Darrell (Andrea) Missey of Fenton, Michelle (Ron) Pruett of Fenton and Danette (Bryan) Davidson of Arnold; 10 grandchildren: Rachel, Alona, Sarah, Isaiah, Ella, Allie, Micah, Joy, Anna and Yura; three siblings; and many friends.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at Canaan Baptist Church, 5409 Baumgartner Road, in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the Jefferson County Foster Children’s Fund, PO Box 445, Hillsboro, 63050. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
