David White, 77, of Crystal City died Feb. 10, 2019, at Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. Mr. White worked as a concrete finisher for Anderson Concrete and was affectionately known as "Mr. Fixit." He enjoyed fishing, country music, blues music and spending time with his family. Born Nov. 21, 1941, in Ste. Genevieve, he was the son of the late Herbert and Genevieve (Madison) White.

He is survived by his wife: Shelby (Kellogg) Jackson; six sons: David "Tony" Brown of Festus, Charles White of Crystal City, Brian (Carla) White of Crystal City, Carl White of Festus, David Jackson of Crystal City and Dwight Jackson of Crystal City; two daughters: Stepheny (Ronald) Herrington of Festus and Devonne (Lonnie) Boga of Ferguson; one sister: Virginia Marahall of Crystal City; two brothers: Jerome White of Crystal City and John (Loretta) White of Festus; 25 grandchildren: Tonyelle Evans, Miracle Ann Marie Brown, Sherard Jackson, Tenechia Jackson, Alethia Tabb, Princess White, Jevon White, Regina Herrington, Cedric Russell, Lindsey White, Tyler White, Jared White, Alexis White, Aaliya White, Madison Merchand, Justin Fartney, Nadyia White, Shaylee White, Tristan Pierce, Trinity Hanna, Mercedes Boga, Lonnie Boga, Shaquille Boga, Nyla Jackson and Peyton Green; and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two daughters: Alethia Jackson and Stephen Jackson; one son: Darrell Brown; and two brothers: Herbert White and Milton White.

Funeral services were Feb. 22 at Mahn Twin City Chapel, officiated by Elder Charles Culton. Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
