David Kenneth Shoults, 64, of Festus died Oct. 10, 2022, at his home. Mr. Shoults retired from the Crystal City Water Department after 39 years. A 1976 graduate of Festus High School, he enjoyed spending time with his family, buying property, building a small cabin, cooking over a campfire and listening to music. Born Jan. 15, 1958, in Festus, he was the son of Oliver Shoults of Festus and the late Genevieve (Huskey) Shoults.
He is survived by his wife: Veronica (French) Shoults; a son: Joshua Shoults of Festus; and brother: Rick (Lissa) Shoults of Festus.
A visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main Street, Festus, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Pastor Lennie Fincher. Memorials may be made to any local food pantry. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Homes.
