David Eric Stech, 55, of St. Louis died Feb. 5, 2017, at his home. Mr. Stech was a baker for Hank’s Cheesecake and a member of St. Louis Disability Project and That Uppity Theatre Co. Born May 1, 1961, in St. Louis, he was the son of Judith (Moore) and the late David Pease of Pevely and Donald and the late Opal Stech of St. Louis.
He also is survived by his brother: Dein Stech of Hillsboro; two stepsisters: Latrice Hill of Georgia and Melanie Pippin of Festus; and two nephews: Dustin Stech of Festus and Darin Stech of Fenton. In addition to his stepparents, he was preceded in death by his stepbrother: Bruce Pease. A special thanks goes out to James Keightley of St. Louis.
A memorial service is scheduled for 4 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, at Vinyard Hillcrest Funeral Home, 9115 Commercial Blvd., in Pevely. Memorials may be made to the St. Louis Effort for AIDS, 1027 S.
