Cynthia Lynn Lucas Bailey, 56, of Bloomsdale died Sept. 28, 2020, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She was a food services worker for the Jefferson R-7 School District and a member of Community Bible Church in Pevely. She was born Oct. 2, 1963, in Melbourne, Fla., the daughter of J. Francis (Jeannie) Lucas of Glen Allen and the late Earline Pearl (Adams) Lucas.
She is survived by her husband: Alfred Bailey; a daughter: Hannah Marie (Kevin) Moore of Ste. Genevieve; a son: Cody Alexander (Taylor) Bailey of Bloomsdale; a stepson: Seth Haze (Brooke) Bailey of St. Charles; two brothers: Steve (Carolyn) Lucas of Hillsboro and Ron (Deena) Lucas of Festus; and 14 grandchildren with one on the way.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Monday, Oct. 5, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, followed immediately by funeral services officiated by Pastor Dennis Rudanovich. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
