Connie J. Day, 71, of Arnold died May 10, 2022, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mrs. Day retired as a medical office manager. She was Baptist. Born June 19, 1950, in Washburn, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Beulah (Davis) Scribner.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: R. Thomas Day of Arnold; one child: Christopher (Lisa) Day of Arnold; three siblings: Frank Scribner of Tularosa, N.M., Darrel (Carol) Scribner of Joplin and Curtis Scribner of Duenweg; one grandchild: Samuel Day of Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by four siblings: Edward, Delmer, Michael and Cecil Scribner; and a granddaughter: Sophie Day.
Visitation is scheduled beginning at 5 pm. Friday, May 13, at Kutis Funeral Home, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at First Baptist Church in Arnold, officiated by the Rev. Kenny Qualls and the Rev. Mark Stockton. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Lewy Body Dementia Association., 912 Killian Hill Road SW, Lilburn, GA 30047.
