Cheston Glenn “Chet” Rhodes, 28, of De Soto died Feb. 26, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Rhodes was a machinist with Orbital Energy Services. He was born June 26, 1992, in Crystal City, the son of Carl “Dusty” Rhodes of De Soto and the late Patricia “Patty” (Berry) Rhodes.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife: Kaitlin (Craig) Rhodes of De Soto; a brother: Casey Rhodes of De Soto; a sister: Claira Rhodes of Jackson; a niece and nephew: Kinley and Parker; his grandparents: Ilene Smiddy and W. Glenwood and Carolyn C. (Zoph) Berry, all of De Soto; his parents-in-law: Julie and Scott Craig of De Soto; a brother-in-law: Josh Craig of De Soto; two sisters-in-law: Cassie Craig and Sam Craig, both of De Soto; and his dogs: Lanie and Ranger.
Visitation is from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at noon Saturday, March 6, at De Soto Community Church of God, 300 W. Mineral St., in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Ron Kulp.
Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home in De Soto.
