Charlotte J. Lexa, 84, of Barnhart died June 7, 2018. Mrs. Lexa was a retired middle school teacher. Born May 26, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Marie (Cotner) and Kenneth Buchanan.
She is survived by her husband: Gene F. Lexa.
She also is survived by two sons: Steve (Julie) and Terry (Lori) Lexa; two daughters: Nina (Ed) Hutchinson and Melanie Lexa; two sisters: Pauline (Dale) Gage and Mary Buchanan; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Leatha Buchanan.
Funeral services will be held at noon Monday, June 11, at Windsor Baptist Church, 6701 Hwy 61-67, Imperial. Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. at the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
