Charles Andrew “Andy” Staggs, 25, of Festus died April 11, 2014, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Staggs attended the NextStep for Life day program and was a member of their Leisure Club. Born Oct. 14, 1988, in St. Louis, he was the son of Susan J. (Derr) and Charles A. “Chuck” Staggs of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by three sisters: Carly Anne Noel of Herculaneum, Elizabeth Anne Staggs of Festus and Bridget Anne Staggs of Dallas, Texas; a brother: Christopher Alan Staggs of Oakville; and four nieces and nephews: Micaela Staggs, John Gabriel Staggs, Alexis Noel and Chapin Pulju. He was preceded in death by a brother: John Charles Staggs.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main in Festus. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 16, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Randy Casey. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to NextStep for Life or the Mapaville State School P.T.O. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
