Brother Paul H. Meyer FSC, 76, of Ellisville died April 29, 2022, at his home. Brother Meyer became a Christian Brother in 1964 and went on to teach in St. Joseph and Cincinnati, Ohio, where he earned a master’s degree in education. He began a long teaching career at CBC in St. Louis in 1981, teaching math and later serving as supervisor of grounds until retiring in 2021. He was born Nov. 29, 1945, in St. Louis, the son of the late Wilma T. (Schuler) and Fred T. Meyer.
He is survived by a brother: Earl (Jane) Meyer of Crystal City; a niece: Mary Beth Meyer of Crystal City; and many cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 7, at Ross Hall, CBC High School, 1850 De La Salle Dr., in St. Louis County. A funeral procession will then make its way to the Church of Ste. Genevieve, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Valle Schools Foundation or to the CBC Scholarship Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Basler Funeral Home in Ste. Genevieve.
