Brandon Daniel Johnston, 32, of De Soto died April 25, 2015, at his home. Mr. Johnston was a glass cutter at D&J Sandblasting. Born Sept. 6, 1982, in Crystal City, he was the son of Ronald and Rosalyn (Kemper) Johnston of De Soto.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend, Beth Rike of De Soto; a daughter: Taylor Johnston of De Soto; three siblings: Natalie Moser, Matt (Jennifer) Johnston and Travis (Shannon) Johnston, all of De Soto; and his grandmother: Jacqueline Kemper of Hillsboro.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Roy Kemper and General and Ottie May Johnston.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 30, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Alexander Anderson. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery in De Soto. Memorials may be made to the care fund for Taylor Johnston. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
