Bonnie Clover Beard, 78, died Sept. 12, 2021, at Fountainbleau Nursing Center in Crystal City. Mrs. Beard was a member of First Baptist Church Festus/Crystal City for many years, later attending Good News Community Church of Festus. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter. Born Jan. 29, 1943, in Poplar Bluff, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Sarah (Cook) Glover.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Dale Francis Beard; a son: Craig Alan Beard of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a daughter: Tracy (Steve) Zoll of Fenton; a sister: Betty Alexander of Springfield; and two grandchildren: Hannah Zoll and Jessica Zoll.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Bruce Glover and Larry Glover.
A funeral service was held Sept. 20 at Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus, officiated by Pastor Gib Adams. Burial was in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
