Benjamin Franklin Hayes, 46, of Crystal City died Oct. 2, 2021, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Hayes a member of Bloomfield Assembly of God in Bloomfield. He enjoyed Christian music. Born Jan. 6, 1975, in Livingston, Mont., he was the son of Frank and Gail Hayes of Festus.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister: Jessica Beth (Joffrey) Cole of Herculaneum; a niece: MacKenzie Hyde of Herculaneum; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from noon until a funeral service at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, at Mathis Funeral Home, 125 W. Stoddard St., in Dexter. Burial is in the Hagy Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Mathis Funeral Home.
