Barbara Sue Robinson, 68, of Anchorage, Alaska, formerly of Danby, died Sept. 28, 2015, in Danby. Mrs. Robinson was a commissaries inventory specialist with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Alaskan Region. Born Dec. 21, 1946, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Eda Mae (Gansner) and Roy E. McClenahan.

She is survived by her husband: Larry Robinson; two children: Kimberly Lynn Robinson and Ryan Larry (Sheila Collins) Robinson, both of Anchorage; two sisters: Mary Alice (Dan) Kennedy of Festus and Dorothy L. (Kevin) Gale of Festus; three brothers: Michael A. (Darla Hagan) McClenahan of Festus, George L. (Arleen) McClenahan of Festus and Perry M. (Jane) McClenahan of Bloomsdale; a brother-in-law: Paul Brewer of California; and six grandchildren: Ashley, Marissa, Kelsey, Zachary, Matthew and Hailey.

She was preceded in death by one sister: Phyllis A. Brewer.

Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 116 W. Main, in Festus. Visitation is at 10 a.m. and a funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 2, at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church in Festus, officiated by Pastor Karen Tutak. Burial will be in the Danby Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Alaska Run for Women or to the Siteman Cancer Center in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
