Barbara Joan (Trefts) Weston, 77, of De Soto died Dec. 11, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mrs. Weston loved painting, making jewelry, and spending time with her family. She was born Jan. 20, 1943, in St. Louis, the daughter of the late Charles Edward and Opal J. (Luckett) Trefts.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Charles Oscar Weston Jr., whom she married Dec. 16, 1966, in Ladue; two children: Charles “Courtney” (Janet) Weston of O’Fallon and Kelley (Joseph III) Vollmar of De Soto; and 11 grandchildren: Charlie Weston, Madeline Weston, Lucy Weston, Dieterich Guertzgen, Collin Vollmar, Isabella Guertzgen, Blake Vollmar, Madison Vollmar, Hunter Guertzgen, Josephine Guertzgen and Dillon Vollmar.
