Ashley Caresse Christian, 30, of Bonne Terre died Feb. 2, 2018, at her home. Born May 23, 1987, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Stephanie (Cooper) Shy of Festus and David M. Shy of De Soto.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband: Jeffrey Christian of New Haven, whom she married on Oct. 21, 2011, in Union; three children: Maci, Summer and Thomas Christian; two brothers: Heath Shy of Bonne Terre and Kyle Cooper of Piggott, Ark.; a sister: Aiden Shy of De Soto; and her grandmother: JoAnn Satterfield of Piggott.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 6, at Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home, 1053 Hwy. C, in New Haven. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Joe Nogalski. Burial is in the Shepherd Hills Cemetery in Barnhart. Memorials may be made to Justice for Children. Arrangements are under the direction of Toedtmann & Grosse Funeral Home.
