Ann Marie Marion, 61, of Festus died Dec. 1, 2015, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. Ms. Marion was a part-time teacher’s aide with the Fox C-6 School District. She was an avid collector of jewelry, antiques and dolls and loved to dance3. Born July 27, 1954, in Portageville, she was the daughter of the late Matt J. and Mardie Mae (Manning) Marion.
She is survived by seven sisters: Renee (Mark) Skalij of Gulfport, Miss., Dell Rita Marion of Festus, Sheila (James) Blum of Festus, Camille (Paul) Drennan of St. Louis; Lillian (the late Fred) Melton of Barnhart, Colleen (the late Jerry) Anderson of Arnold and Jewell (the late Carl) Robertson of St. Louis; two brothers: Matt W. Marion of Fenton and Vernon (Mary) Marion of San Diego, Calif.; 23 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother: Richard Marion.
A funeral service was held Dec. 3 at Kutis South County Chapel in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to Mercy hospice, 5 Industrial Drive, Festus, 63028. Arrangements were under the direction of Kutis Funeral Home.
