Andrew James “Andy” Lucas, 27, of Festus died Jan. 1, 2019, in Festus. Mr. Lucas attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in De Soto and Faith Baptist Church in Festus. He worked numerous jobs, but the most important thing to him was being a father. Born Jan. 5, 1991, in Festus, he was the son of Karen (Goodman) Ludwig of Festus.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by longtime dear friend Angelica Schneider of Festus; a daughter: Jude Schneider; a son: Elliot Schneider of Festus; a brother: Matthew Lucas of Festus; a sister: Connie Lucas of Festus; two grandmothers: Bessie Rhiner of Festus and Janice Lucas of Festus; and numerous family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by two grandfathers and numerous other family members and friends.
A celebration of life was held Jan. 5 at Emmanuel Baptist Church in De Soto. Memorials may be made to My Life Medical Center, P.O. Box 408, House Springs, 63051. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
