Alta Allie Vineyard, 94, of Festus died March 16, 2022, at her home. Born Oct. 17, 1927, in Caldwell, she was the daughter of the late Pleasant Dutie (McColaugh) and Harry Reno Bailey.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Glen Dale Vineyard.
She is survived by a son: Mike (Debbie) Vineyard of O’Fallon; three daughters: Lisa Pashia of Pevely, Carol Sue Wilckson of Jonesboro, Ark., and Debbie Kassen of Festus; four sisters: Jean Epperson of Elsinore, Joyce Washington of Charleston, Linda Nunn of Sikeston and Judy Combest of Anniston; three brothers: Phillip Bailey of Anniston and Harry “Tiny” Bailey and Ronnie “Sunny Boy” Bailey, both of Doniphan; a daughter-in-law: Peggy Harper of Walnut Ridge, Ark.; five grandchildren: Melissa (Jay) Jessup, Brittany Pashia, Christopher Whaley, Jordan Kassen and Chris (Sarah) Harper; and six great-grandchildren: Jason, Luke and Hannah Harper, Harper Jessup, Jensen Jackson and Connor Sillman.
She was preceded in death by a son: Homer L. Harper; a sister: Mary Kanick; a brother: Homer “H.E.” (the late Ruth) Bailey; three brothers-in-law: Harold Epperson, James Nunn and Chris Combest; and a sister-in-law: Frances Bailey.
Funeral services were held March 18 at Vinyard Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray. Burial was in Presbyterian-Methodist Cemetery in Festus. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation. Arrangements were under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
