Volunteers are needed for the Kade’s Playground community build day on Sunday, Sept. 27.
The playground is a accessible to all children, including those with disabilities.
Volunteers need to be at least 18 years old, and they are asked to work either from 9 a.m. to noon or 1-4 p.m., at Herculaneum City Park, 850 Joachim Ave., where the playground is being built.
At the work day, volunteers will drill and set anchors, install slides and climbers, dig holes for flowers and tree to be planted, assemble benches and do other miscellaneous tasks.
Volunteers are asked to dress appropriately for the weather and the work.
