Veterans were honored today with a parade in Arnold, followed by a free luncheon and program at the Fox schools campus.

The parade, sponsored by the Arnold Veterans Commission, began at 11 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church on Tenbrook Road and ended on the Fox schools campus on Jeffco Boulevard. Then, veterans and active military personnel were treated to lunch at the Fox High School library and an assembly at Rickman Auditorium. The lunch and assembly were sponsored by the Fox High Student Council.

Fox High band students performed, and students from around the district were on hand to greet the veterans.

Jefferson County Executive Ken Waller and Arnold Mayor Ron Counts and other local dignitaries attended.
