There’s still time to play in the Twin City Days Trivia set for tonight (Sept. 9) in the cafeteria at Festus High School, 501 Westwind Drive.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and questions start at 7 p.m. People may sign up ahead of the event or just show up ready to play.
The cost is $10 per person. Proceeds from the event will benefit CASA of Jefferson County, a program that provides support to children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned.
Teams of eight will compete for cash prizes. Those who wish to play but are not part of an organized team are welcome to come and join other solo players or another team.
Snacks like popcorn and pretzels will be provided at the event, which is sponsored by Leader Publications. Soft drinks, water and candy will be sold by the Festus High School Band Boosters. Outside food and drinks are allowed, but alcohol and tobacco are prohibited.
Giveaways also will be included.
