Authorities are searching for suspects in connection with the armed robbery Sunday morning (Feb. 19) of the Express Mart, 999 W. Gannon Drive, Festus.
Festus Police report the incident occurred at about 7:10 a.m. when a black man displaying a semiautomatic handgun demanded and received an undisclosed amount of cash. Witnesses told police the suspect was wearing a dark-color sweatshirt, a partial mask, and dark-color pants possibly with white stripes. He was seen getting into the passenger side of a green, four-door car, possibly a Nissan.
