There’s still another week to break out those old photos and send them in to the “Way Back When” photo contest sponsored by Grand Times, Leader Publications’ magazine for seniors.

The contest is open to all Jefferson County and Eureka readers who are 50 and older. Entrants are asked to submit a photograph of a person, place, event or activity from long ago. Photos must be at least 25 years old.

Three winners will be drawn at random from among all the entries to win cash prizes – $100 for the first name drawn, $75 for the second and $50 for the third.

The deadline to submit a photo in the contest is 5 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4.

As many photo entries as space allows will be published in the Aug. 17 Grand Times section of the Leader. That issue also will include information about the Arnold Senior Expo, set for Wednesday, Aug. 23, at the Arnold Eagles.

Entries should include the following information:

■ Entrant’s name, age, address and phone number.

■ The date and place the photo was taken and by whom.

■ The names of any people in the photo.

■ Any other information about the photo that explains why it is memorable.

There is a limit of two entries per person.

Send entries to: Way Back When, c/o Leader Publications, P.O. Box 159, Festus, 63028; email to news@leaderpublications.biz; or drop off at the Leader office, 503 N. Second St., in Festus.

Photos accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope will be mailed back.
