The scene is now clear after multiple law enforcement agencies conducted a manhunt near Moberly Regional Medical Center, according to a Facebook post from the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Around 10:30 p.m. Monday, the Sheriff's Office told residents in the surrounding area to expect a heavy law enforcement presence as agencies work to resolve the situation.
Authorities encouraged residents to secure their homes and vehicles, remain aware of their surroundings and avoid the area while law enforcement operations continue.
Residents were also asked to report any suspicious people or activity by calling 911.
The all-clear came around 11:40 p.m., with the Sheriff's Office stating there is no need for surrounding residents to take precautions due to this incident.
It also thanked the multiple law enforcement agencies that worked this operation.
