The Windsor High School graduation ceremony scheduled this evening, May 21, at the district’s football field has been postponed one day due to weather concerns.
Superintendent Jason King in a letter to parents said, “This difficult decision was made due to the potential for severe weather conditions later this evening that could jeopardize the safety of those in attendance.”
The ceremony will now take place at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 22, at the football field.
Because of the scheduling change for the high school graduation, the Windsor C-1 Board of Education meeting originally scheduled for the evening of May 22 has been canceled. The board’s next regular meeting will be 7 p.m. June 24 (a Monday instead of the normal fourth Wednesday), King announced.
