The St. Pius X High School Class of 2014 held its commencement ceremony May 16 at the school. The following class members earned scholarships and honors for college:
Cody Archer, son of Robert Archer and Kay Schaffer, will attend the University of Central Missouri and received a Choir Scholarship and a Missouri Boys State Scholarship.
Will Argana, son of Charles and Mary Argana, will attend Benedictine College and received an Academic Athletic Scholarship and a Choir Scholarship.
Nicholas Barton, son of Jerome and Michelle Barton, will attend Blackburn College and received an Alumni Scholarship.
Austin Basler, son of Dirk Basler and and Krissy Becker, will attend Southeast Missouri State University and received the President’s Scholarship and the Residence Life Leadership Scholarship.
Katherine Brinegar, daughter of Mike and Pam Brinegar, will attend St. Louis Community College and received an Athletic Scholarship.
Jeremy Cartee, son of Rich and Kim Cartee, will attend Fontbonne University and received the Catholic Recognition Award and an Alumni Scholarship.
Demie Darian, daughter of Dan and Tracy Darian, will attend William Woods University and received a LEAD Scholarship and the Equestrian Performance Award.
Susan Dirsa, daughter of Mark and Pat Dirsa, will attend Maryville University and received the Merit Scholarship.
Andrew Drinen, son of Jeff and Cindy Drinen, will attend Central Methodist University and received both an Academic and Athletic Scholarship.
Haylee Eastridge, daughter of Blaine and Angie Eastridge, will attend Illinois State University and received an Athletic Scholarship.
Jesse Eimer, son of Tim and Terry Eimer, has enlisted in the U.S. Army and received the U.S. Army G.I. Bill Education Benefit.
Jason Faver, son of Bill and the late Kathy Faver, will attend Avila University and received an Academic Scholarship, a Football Scholarship, the Avila Grant and the Missouri Grant.
Taylor Fischbach, daughter of Thomas and Donna Fischbach, will attend Arizona State University and received the New American University Scholarship.
Macie Fitzgerald, cum laude, daughter of Riley and Tonya Fitzgerald, will attend Stephens College and received the Biology Award, the Community Engagement Scholarship, the Stephens Grant and the Est. Access MO Grant.
David Halfmann, son of Paul and Kay Halfmann, will attend St. Louis University’s Kennrick Glennon Seminary and received the Archbishop Scholarship.
Noah Harnacke, magna cum laude, son of Jason and Angie Harnacke, will attend Truman State University and received the Boys State Scholarship, the Combined Ability Scholarship, the President’s Honorary Scholarship, the President’s Leadership Scholarship, the Truman Achievement Award and the George Preisack TSU Foundation Scholarship.
Hannah Harper, daughter of Daniel Harper and Lisa Stienhoff-Harper, will attend the University of Central Missouri and received the Through the Looking Glass Disabled Parents Scholarship.
