Suspect in robbery at Regions Bank in Fenton

Authorities are trying to identify this man suspected in a robbery at Regions Bank in Fenton.

A suspect robbed a woman while she was waiting for the Regions Bank in Fenton to open early Thursday (June 27), according to an email from media relations officer Tracy Panus with the St. Louis County Police Department.

The woman was waiting at the bank, 999 Bowles Ave., at about 7:10 a.m. when the suspect displayed a firearm, threatened the woman and demanded the items in her possession. Officers with St. Louis County Police and Fenton Police responded to the call, Panus said.

No one was injured, she said.

Panus said the suspect fled in a pickup. The suspect is an adult male, about 6 feet tall with a thin build and facial hair, and is considered armed and dangerous.

The St. Louis County Police Department’s Bureau of Crimes Against Persons was leading the investigation into the robbery, she said.
