Arnold Police are investigating damage to eight vehicles that occurred Sunday morning (Jan. 31) while they were parked outside St. John’s Lutheran Church, 3517 Jeffco Blvd. In all, the damage to the vehicles was estimated at $2,800, Detective Lt. Jason Valentine said.
At about 8 a.m., one of the victims called police when she saw someone dressed in black smashing windows on vehicles in the church’s parking lot. The suspect fled the church’s parking lot in a silver passenger car, Valentine said.
The suspect allegedly broke windows on a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado, 2017 Chevrolet Silverado, 2015 Chevrolet Colorado, 2014 Ford Edge, 2009 Ford Escape, 2012 Mazda 3, 2016 Ford F-150 and 2004 Toyota Camry. As of Monday (Feb. 1), however, there were no reports of thefts from the vehicles, even though all eight were rifled through, Valentine said.
As of Monday (Feb. 1), the suspect had not been identified, Valentine said. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
