A window was shattered on a car that was for sale at Scoreboard Automotive, 1375 W. Fifth St., in Eureka. The cost to repair the window was estimated at $300, Eureka Police reported.
The front driver-side window on the 2015 Dodge Challenger was shattered between 5 p.m. Oct. 8 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 9. An officer did not find any object near the car that may have been used to break the window, the report said.
No other vehicle on the lot was damaged, but the back door to the business was unlocked. However, it appeared nothing had been tampered with inside the building, according to the report.
As of Oct. 19, no suspects had been identified, Lt. Michael Werges. He asks anyone with information about the incident to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
