The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of two vehicles from the BBC Motors auto dealership, 1649 Springdale Blvd., in unincorporated Fenton. The vehicles have since been recovered, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.

Between about 5:30 p.m. April 25 and 7:20 a.m. April 26, a 2000 Ford F-250 and a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban were stolen from the dealership. It looked like someone entered the business through an unlocked window and got keys from an unlocked case that were for the SUV and pickup and then stole the vehicles, the report said.

St. Louis County Police recovered the SUV, which was valued at $7,450, on April 26, and it was returned to the business. The Sheriff’s Office recovered the pickup, which was worth $5,500, on May 4, according to the report.

An AT&T Samsung cell phone that belongs to the business also was stolen. It was valued at $250 and had not been recovered as of May 5, Sheriff’s Office spokesman Grant Bissell said.

He said and no suspects had been identified either. Anyone with information about the incident should call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
