Arnold Police are investigating a recent break-in and theft from a vehicle parked at Arnold City Park on Bradley Beach Road off Jeffco Boulevard near the Meramec River. Between 5:45 p.m. and 7:11 p.m. April 25, someone smashed the vehicle’s driver-side window to get inside and stole two purses that contained a variety of items, including credit cards, Arnold Police reported.
The purses and their contents were valued at $620. In addition, the damage to the vehicle was estimated at $300, the report said.
As of May 6, none of the stolen items had been recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, said Arnold Police Capt. Robert Ruckman. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
