Arnold Police are investigating a shooting at the Taco Bell restaurant, 1932 Richardson Road, that left two men injured. The men were transported to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County with non-life-threatening injuries, police reported.
Officers were called at about 2:35 a.m. Nov. 27 to the restaurant following the shooting that involved a 24-year-old St. Louis man who works at Taco Bell and a 46-year-old Imperial man. The employee and customer reportedly were involved in an argument that turned physical, and they both shot at each other outside the restaurant.
The customer was shot several times in his right leg, and the employee was shot once in his groin area, according to the report.
As of today, Nov. 30, the men were still being evaluated at Mercy South, police reported.
Lt. Jeremy Christopher said no one else was injured in the shooting, and there were no reports of property damage or vehicles being struck by bullets.
He said it is unknown what started the dispute between the men and if they were inside or outside the restaurant when the incident began, but the incident is still being investigated. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
